QuickCart

Privacy policy

Last updated 21 October 2026

This policy explains what information QuickCart handles and why. It covers the QuickCart portal (quickcart.quickgentech.com), the QuickCart Setup app for iPhone and Android, and QuickCart trolleys and counter boxes. QuickCart is run by Quickgen Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. ("Quickgen", "we").

Who uses QuickCart

QuickCart is used by stores and their staff. Accounts are created by a store owner or by Quickgen; there is no public sign-up. Shoppers use the trolleys in a store but don't have QuickCart accounts.

What we handle

The QuickCart Setup app

Why we use it

Only to run QuickCart for the stores that use it: signing in, managing staff and stores, setting up devices, syncing trolley carts, checking out, printing receipts, showing ads on trolley screens, and sending account emails. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or track people across other apps or websites.

Who processes it for us

They process information only to provide these services to us.

Security

All traffic to QuickCart uses HTTPS. Passwords, session tokens and device keys are stored only as hashes. Each store's staff can see only that store's information.

How long we keep it

For as long as the store uses QuickCart, or until the store or the person asks us to delete it. Password links expire after 1 hour (reset) or 7 days (new account) and work only once.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to delete your account: see Delete an account or email support@quickgentech.com. A store owner can also remove staff from their store in the portal or the app.

Children

QuickCart is a tool for store staff and is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Significant changes are announced to store owners by email.
